The theme of this conference is "Prevention and Monitoring of Health and Aging: Connected Medical Devices and AI Serving Humanity" It will highlight innovations aimed at improving the quality of life and autonomy of seniors through connected medical devices and AI technologies. These tools play a key role in disease prevention, managing chronic conditions, and personalizing care. The conference will be organized around three major sessions, offering an in-depth analysis of biomedical and digital technologies in healthcare.
Thematic sessions:
AI for Health, Well-being, and Autonomy.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays an increasingly important role in promoting health, well-being, and individual autonomy. This session will present AI applications aimed at supporting healthy aging, encouraging physical activity, and improving sports performance through personalized and continuous assistance enabled by new technologies.
Biomedical Devices and Smart Homes.
Connected biomedical devices and smart homes for telemonitoring open up new perspectives in prediction, prevention, and medical decision-making support. This session will focus on wearable devices that allow continuous monitoring of physical and physiological parameters, thus facilitating early diagnosis and rapid intervention.
Acceptability, Adoption, and User Validation.
The acceptability and adoption of connected health technologies by users are important for their success and impact. This session will explore the societal and ethical issues associated with their use, while emphasizing respect for users' rights and empowerment. Focus will be on usability, user feedback, & validation of solutions in real-world conditions.
Call for Papers
As part of this conference, a call for papers and posters is open. Submissions, written in French or English, will be evaluated by the scientific committee and must follow the format available on the page "Call for Papers". Posters may cover any topic related to e-Health. After evaluation, selected papers will be published in the HAL archives, and the best ones will be featured in a special issue of the IRBM journal.
